About 65,000 people flock to the nearby Hillsboro Airport (about 18 miles outside of Portland) to attend this annual airshow. The show features all sort of high-flying fun, from sky dancers and skywriting demonstrations to military jet flybys and parachute performances. Food vendors and fireworks round out the fun. Much money has been donated back to community projects from proceeds of previous events. |
